Climate and Nature

Due to its high altitude, Rwanda enjoys a pleasant, temperate tropical highland climate with year-round temperatures averaging between 20°C and 25°C. Celebrated as the "Land of a Thousand Hills", the country features rolling green hills, dense montane rainforests, volcanic ranges, and the shores of Lake Kivu.

Culture and Gastronomy

Rwandan culture is celebrated for its dynamic Intore dance, traditional drumming, and unique Imigongo art (traditional geometric art made using cow dung). Local gastronomy centers around wholesome staples. Popular dishes include Goat Brochettes (skewers), Ugali (cassava/cornmeal mash), Isambaza (small Lake Kivu fish), and Matoke.

Economy

Rwanda has emerged as one of East Africa's fastest-growing economies. Agriculture drives exports through specialty Arabica coffee and tea production. Major growth is propelled by high-end sustainable eco-tourism (gorilla tracking), tech innovation, and modern urban infrastructure.
