Climate and Nature

Pakistan features a diverse climate ranging from arid and subtropical in the south to alpine and freezing temperatures in the northern mountain ranges. It is home to three of the world's highest mountain ranges: the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush. The mighty Indus River runs through the entire country, nurturing its fertile agricultural plains.

Culture and Gastronomy

Pakistani culture is deeply rooted in Islamic tradition and rich South Asian heritage. The cuisine is celebrated for its flavorful, aromatic, and spicy dishes such as Biryani, Nihari, Haleem, and freshly grilled kebabs. Warm hospitality is central to social life, typically accompanied by cups of sweet Doodh Pati Chai (milk tea).

Economy

The economy of Pakistan relies heavily on agriculture, which employs a significant portion of the workforce and produces major crops like cotton, wheat, and basmati rice. Textiles form the backbone of the country's manufacturing exports, while the IT sector and major infrastructure development under CPEC are driving modern growth.
