Climate and Nature

Malaysia features an equatorial tropical rainforest climate with warm temperatures, high humidity, and regular rainfall year-round. Geography is split into Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia on the island of Borneo. Nature is among the richest on Earth, boasting ancient jungles, karst towers, massive cave systems, and coral reef archipelagos.

Culture and Gastronomy

Malaysia is celebrated for its harmonious multicultural society bringing together Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous heritage (such as the Iban and Kadazan). Gastronomy is a world-renowned fusion of these cultural traditions. The national dish is Nasi Lemak (fragrant coconut rice served with sambal, anchovies, peanuts, and boiled egg), alongside Roti Canai, Laksa, and Char Kway Teow.

Economy

The economy of Malaysia is one of the strongest and most dynamic in Southeast Asia. The country has successfully transitioned into a major global manufacturer of semiconductors, electronics, and petroleum derivatives (led by state oil firm Petronas). Palm oil exports, rubber, and international tourism serve as additional economic foundations.
